When
we look for a place to buy or rent, we ask lots of questions - How
close is it to work? How close is it to the highways? How close is it to
the grocery store? How close is it to church? How close is it to the
bus stop? What are the schools like in the area? Are the people
friendly? Any place to go get a pizza, deli, whatever?
- So we've
provided pages and links to answer these questions. And, often times the question on 'How safe, really, is that neighborhood?' comes up when people are looking to buy a house or rent. And we here in Court-Woodlawn are going to address that by posting the crime stats for Syracuse, which shows our area(located north of Grant Blvd to the city line). Please check it out on our Real Estate page, along with all the other info and links.
You'll see - Court-Woodlawn is a good place to live.

Hello - And Welcome to our page created to keep you informed on the Court-Woodlawn neighborhood.
The Court-Woodlawn Task Force was created to be a voice in protecting, revitalizing and promoting our section in the City of Syracuse.
Court-Woodlawn is one of Syracuse's "Best Kept Secrets", located on the North Side of Syracuse, bordered by Grant Blvd on the South, Teall Ave. to the East, Hiawatha Blvd on the West, all stretching to the Northern City Line at Lyncourt. We share with pride our attractive, affordable housing, safer neighborhoods and good schools. We're close to the hospitals, main bus lines, and great shopping, with Wegmans, Tops, and Destiny just five minutes away from most of us. Same with houses of worship, Schiller Park and Pool, playgrounds, little leagues, and of course we are ten minutes from SU and downtown’s restaurants, theaters and entertainment.

I loved all the tulips this spring! I live on Spring St. and run through the entire area, and wanted to let you know that I've been admiring all the work you have done this spring at Grant, the gateways, Butternut, etc. Way to go! So nice to see our neighborhood perking up.
